The Person Behind the Practice
Barış Atalay

Barış Atalay is an electrical engineer and patent attorney with experience in intellectual property since 2003.
He qualified as a Turkish Patent Attorney in 2003 and as a European Patent Attorney in 2011. His practice focuses on European and Turkish patent matters, with particular emphasis on computer-implemented inventions, software, artificial intelligence and technically complex technologies.
His approach combines the analytical perspective of an engineer with the legal and procedural expertise required to develop and defend meaningful patent protection.
